Audio Book Description
Yikes! is a full lenth audio book featuring a cast of 11 actors.

Listen as characters such as Steven Finch, a pot-smoking slouch, Randall Smoot, a member of the Gay Mafia, and Moon McKenna, the ultimate fake, describe what happened the summer they gathered in the desert to participate in a reality TV show called Yikes!

Set against a backdrop which includes a haunted oasis and lots of orange trees, the socially deranged characters of Yikes! will do anything to outmaneuver their fellow contestants. A poorly executed séance turns out to be a real barn burner. Find out what happens before the whole place goes down in flames!

The Cast of Yikes!
Adele Park Producer, Editor, Voice of Suki, Studio Announcer
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. After earning a Bachelors Degree from Mesa State College, I spent the next 20 years working in television and radio as a reporter/news anchor/ on-air personality. At the moment, my list of odd jobs includes operating Straight to Audio Productions and working as a freelance writer and photographer. My articles and photos have been published in St. George Magazine, Woman International, and Your Health Magazine. It was truly an honor for me to work with the fabulous cast of Yikes! Special thanks to my husband, Michael.

Tysen Bang Casting Director, Voice of Anthony Waterhouse
I am passionate about all aspects of the performing arts and have performed in many productions. I have also produced and directed several shows, hosted special events and have been on local TV. I have written numerous radio and short scripts. Lately, my attention has turned to film. I have written short movies and have been in many local and independent films. I am often eclipsed by my amazingly talented and beautiful wife, Brooke, and my three extremely cute kids.

John Parkinson Narrator
My passion is theater of change. The performing ensemble, a committed audience and the right message are the foundation stones in theaters I co-founded in Colorado Springs, New York City and San Francisco. Producing and directing for PBS and CBS Television provided a livelihood while I rolled the dice on stage. A Masters Degree in Theater from the University of Denver has resulted in teaching positions at colleges, universities and professional studios. Life as a producer, director, designer and actor - what could be better?

Jan Broberg Voice of Iris Borrman
I began my acting, dancing and singing career at Disney World, and have performed in summer stock, regional theaters, touring companies and a number of film and television projects. Some of the movies I have acted in include Little Secrets, Clubhouse Detectives, Mobsters and Mormons and Passage to Zarahemla. My television credits include Nurse Louise on the WB series Everwood, and recurring roles on Promised Land and Touched by an Angel. I have also directed numerous plays. I serve as an advocate for children's issues, sharing my personal childhood story of abduction and brainwashing.

Chrystine Hyatt Voice of Moon McKenna
I graduated with a B.A. from Southern Utah University in Theatre and Language Arts. I worked with the Utah Shakespearean Festival for 6 years. I've directed and appeared in various productions for St. George Musical Theater. In regional theater, I've had major and supporting roles at the Utah Neil Simon Festival and Tuacahn. I've done voice-overs for Feature Films for Families. Currently, I teach Theater and English, and I'm a DJ on STAR 98 FM. My husband Dave and I have 5 children and live in Southern Utah where the family raises Paso Fino Horses.

Steve Coppola Voice of Chet Waterhouse
This project has been a wonderful and challenging new experience in entertainment for me. So far, I have performed in 13 productions with St. George Musical Theater. I love acting, and welcomed the opportunity to practice my craft in a new way for Yikes! In my profession, I work as a hairstylist and have done educational work for Redken 5th Avenue. One of the awards I am grateful to have received is being voted "Best Hairstylist in Southern Utah" by readers polled in St. George Magazine.

Missy Hill Voice of Em, Singing Solo
I grew up in an environment which encouraged all types of performing arts. I studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, California, and also studied with private coach Andrew Benne in North Hollywood. I have been involved with numerous plays, and have had lead roles in many productions. I work as a radio DJ on B-92 FM, hosting my own Live Request Show. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to my mother and father for their love and unconditional support.

Jarom Brown Voice of Stillman Walker
I am a native of Modesto, California, and moved to St. George about two years ago for school. I am a student at Dixie State College, currently studying theater there. I have acted in many productions including I Hate Hamlet, An Ideal Husband, and As You Like It. For the past year, I have been involved in the Central California improvisational comedy group called The Unscriptables. My ideal job is to one day become a college professor of theater, and own my own improv comedy club for families.

Guy Smith Voice of Randall Smoot, Singing Solo for Bryan Findlay
I'm a Sophomore with the Dixie State College theater program. My most recent work includes playing Pirelli in Sweeney Todd, as well as working as the chief makeup designer for that production. I'm a two-time Irene Ryan Scholarship nominee, and an Honorary Thespian with the International Thespian Society. Yikes! is my first experience working as an actor for an audio book. I am a multi-media artist, with a firm involvement in tattoo design. I'm also an avid rock climber.

Kiki Shakespaere-Thompson Voice of Marietta Humphries
I am from Chatsworth, California. I was five years old when I began singing. Some of my accomplishments include singing the National Anthem at the Paradise Bowl, and Soprano Soloist for the Southwest Symphony and Chorale's production of Messiah. I have been a musical director and have performed in numerous theatrical productions including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Quilters, Nunsense, As You Like It and Little Shop of Horrors. My love of the arts comes second only to my husband, Anthony, and our beautiful daughter, Acacia Jahzara.

Rhett Guter Voice of Steven Finch
I am originally from California, but grew up in St. George, Utah. For the last four years, I have been in beautiful Cedar City while studying theater and dance at Southern Utah University. The world of theater was introduced to me at Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work for several companies on a wide range of projects. My professional credits include various roles at the Utah Shakespearean Festival, Tuacahn Center for the Arts and the St. George Ballet Company.
