| John Duncklee has pursued a varied life, working as a cowboy, sailor, university professor, mesquite furniture designer and writer. John, writes daily from his home office in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Between sessions at the keyboard, John finds time to belong to the Western Writers of America, The Author's Guild, Arizona Historical Society. The Arizona Commision on the Arts awarded John a $5000 unrestricted fellowship for excellence in writing. Another notable award was the author of the year given by The Friends of the Branigan Library for Manchado and his friends. |
