| Terri Blackstock didn’t always write for the Lord. Once an award-winning secular novelist writing for HarperCollins, Harlequin, and Silhouette, she had 32 titles published and 3.5 million books in print. But she was miserable. Career compromises had taken their toll on her spiritual life, and she yearned to renew her relationship with Christ.
After much soul-searching, Terri told the Lord that she would never again write a work that didn't glorify Him. As a fan of suspense novels by John Grisham and Mary Higgins Clark, she decided to try writing fast-paced page-turners with faith messages woven in. When Christian publishers expressed interest, she realized God was paving the way for her to enter the Christian publishing world.
Since then, Terri has published more than 25 novels, including many bestsellers. She writes about flawed Christians in crisis, primarily in the suspense genre. She has also rewritten four of her earlier books as Christian romances, and she is co-author of a series of family values novels with Beverly LaHaye.
Terri has been a guest on national television programs such as “The 700 Club”, “At Home Live with Chuck and Jenny", “Home Life”, and on numerous radio programs. Her personal story appears in books such as Touched By the Savior by Mike Yorkey, and True Stories of Answered Prayer by Mike Nappa |
